Despite the advantages and what it means for HR, there are a number of challenges facing digital employee onboarding. 

For instance, the incorporation of remote employees into a team. Since the entire team isn’t together in a physical location, it often takes more effort to hold the team together. 

There is also the issue of handling diversity. Remote work brings together employees from all over the world. Consequently, employees are bound to come from various backgrounds and have various cultures. Managing this level of diversity can often be a challenge.
